Ram Nimbalker

I'm a product manager and AI builder based in Riyadh.

I work at Asharq News, where I've helped scale products to 3M+ downloads and 800K monthly active users. Before that, I shipped products at Etisalat ($80M revenue), OSN ($35M revenue), and Salucro Healthcare ($1.5M ARR).

I'm product-first. Not an engineer, and I don't try to be. I care about users, systems, and building things that work in the real world.

I also create videos about AI, tech, and business across the MENA region.

Outside work, I'm usually building side projects, learning something new, or talking to people about ideas, products, and life.

When I'm not doing that, I'm into comedy, movies, mimicry, dancing, traveling. I miss Mumbai local trains. And I love Zakir Khan-style storytelling.

Some of my favorite writing includes:

Inspired by myself. Comedy, Mumbai locals, and a lot of unfinished drafts did the rest.

Last watched: a good comedy set with chai on the side.
